We operate no accounts and no user database. Every calculator input and result is processed locally in your browser and is never sent to our servers or to any third party.
The Android app does, however, serve advertising through Google AdMob. For that purpose Google receives your device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and usage signals. This is described in full in section 7a. It is never linked to the financial figures you enter.

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
The figures you enter stay on your device, so you control them directly — Menu → Clear All Data erases every saved calculation, loan and goal permanently.

Since all calculations occur locally in your browser and no data is transmitted or stored, your financial information remains private and secure on your device.
The FinanceCalcs Android app shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To do this, Google and its partners may access your device's advertising identifier (AAID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and app-usage information. This is used to select ads, measure their performance, and limit how often the same ad is shown to you.
Where you consent, you may see personalized ads chosen using your advertising identifier and inferred interests. Where you decline, or where consent is not available, you will see non-personalized ads, which are based only on general context such as the app you are using and your approximate location. Non-personalized ads still use a limited amount of data for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent message on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform, a certified Consent Management Platform. Advertising is not initialised until you have made a choice.
You can change or withdraw your advertising consent at any time from Menu → Ad privacy choices inside the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android Settings → Google → Ads, which includes an option to opt out of ad personalisation entirely.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights over personal data processed about you: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing.
Our legal basis for advertising-related processing is your consent, collected as described above. Our legal basis for the limited technical data required to deliver and secure the app is our legitimate interest in operating it. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Your calculator inputs, saved calculations, loan records and goals never leave your device — they are stored in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to us. Clearing app data, or using Menu → Clear All Data, permanently erases them.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
To exercise the opt-out, use Menu → Ad privacy choices in the app, or opt out of ad personalisation in your Android settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
